This course is designed for para-professionals (key support workers, group home providers, respite care workers etc...) that are required to administer medications as part of their employment. Under Workplace Health and Safety regulations taking a first aid course does not cover medication admistration. This course however is an interactive awareness course in the procedures of medication administration but will not certify you to prescribed medications or administer medications that do not have a physician's order. Course taught by a healthcare professional (nurse, EMT or paramedic).
